So far now, the First seven tab’s groups with their buttons tools have been already discussed. They’re the Home tab, the Insert tab and the Page Layout tab etc. In addition, the tabs are the Formulas tab, the Data tab, the Review tab and the View tab.

Now, in this post, we’ll know about the Developer tab groups and their buttons. So, the first group of the Developer tab is the Code group in Microsoft Excel. And, the last post was about on the buttons of  the View tab group.

Especially, the Developer tab has been kept hidden by default in Excel. To enable the Developer tab, firstly go to File tab (Backstage View), then click on Options. Next click on Customize Ribbon and then tick the Developer check box under the Main Tabs list.

The Code group contains five buttons tools in MS Excel. The buttons are the Visual Basic button, the Macros button and the Record Macro button etc. Also’re the Use Relative References button and the Macro Security button as well. The Record Macro button and the Use Relative References button; in the Macros group of the View tab are also present.

First of all, the Visual Basic tool button lets users to open the Visual Basic Editor in Excel. Next, Macros button provides a list to view macros created by users. Further next, the Record Macro button helps users to record macros.

Lastly, the Use Relative References tool records macros for users with actions relative to the cell which is initially selected. Finally, the Macro Security button command helps to customize security settings for a macro in Excel.
